Askern Town Council has 9 councillors all of whom meet regularly to serve the community on a voluntary basis for a minimum term of 4 years.
Hi, I’m Jake Keeble, 31, from Askern and was co-opted as Town Councillor.
I moved into Askern in 2019 and have grown fond of the area, community spirit, and the people that live here.
I’d like to use my professional skills to help grow and develop Askern Town council to meet the needs of its citizens as well as making sure that everyone’s voice is heard and taken into account. Experience includes Business Management, Hospitality, Customer Service, Marketing and Customer Relationship Management. I also volunteer regularly for Yorkshire’s Police Forces. Previously I have held positions within committees aiding these to successfully grow.
I’m aware that there may be past politics that have held people back from getting involved in their community, however I would like to bring a fresh look to all issues and ensure that the best for everyone is considered and debated.
